Facial fillers in Durango: why we offer Sculptra only
Most people who type facial fillers into a search bar expect hyaluronic acid gels and lip filler. That search is common in Durango, and it is fair. We still do not stock that category. Sculptra is the only filler we offer, because it matches how we like volume to return: slowly, through your own collagen, without a same-day change that looks placed.

Sculptra vs HA fillers
Hyaluronic acid fillers and Sculptra are both called fillers. They are not interchangeable. HA is a gel that occupies space. Sculptra is a collagen stimulator. We explain both so you can decide whether our only option is the right one.

We mention Juvederm and Restylane only to be clear: we do not offer them. If an HA gel is the better tool for your goal, we will say so rather than stretch Sculptra into a job it should not do.
Sculptra is not lip filler
Sculptra is not used for lip augmentation in this office. PLLA is not a lip-shaping gel, and we do not offer a substitute HA lip filler. If lips are the reason you searched facial fillers in Durango, this is not the right appointment.
Lines that move with expression are a different conversation from volume. Daxxify relaxes movement in the forehead, frown, and crow's feet. It is not a filler. Volume loss in the midface, temples, or folds is the Sculptra discussion.
How Sculptra works
Sculptra's active material is poly-L-lactic acid, or PLLA. It is a biocompatible, biodegradable particle that has been used in medicine for decades. After it is placed in the face, the particles are a signal, not a permanent implant. Your tissue responds by building collagen around them.
That is why the calendar matters. You should not expect a filled look when you leave the chair. Early fullness is often water and placement, then it settles. The collagen rebuild is the point, and it is gradual: typically a 3 to 6 month build, with a result that can last up to about 2 years. Maintenance is discussed later, once we see how your face responds.

What to expect
A typical series
Most facial plans use more than one visit. A common pattern is a series of sessions spaced several weeks apart so we can see collagen start before we add more. Vial count is not one-size. It depends on the face in front of us, not a package board. New patients book an aesthetics consult first.
The 5 x 5 x 5 massage
After treatment you massage the treated areas five times a day, for five minutes, for five days. That 5 x 5 x 5 step helps the product stay evenly distributed while the collagen response starts. We review the motion with you before you leave. Skipping it is not a small skip.
Downtime
Downtime is usually light. Swelling, redness, or bruising at injection sites can happen and typically settles over a few days. You can often return to normal activity the same day, with aftercare and massage as instructed. Durango sun still matters: treat the skin kindly, and ask before adding harsh products on freshly injected areas.

The consult is where we decide whether collagen stimulation, a neuromodulator for movement lines, laser for sun and texture, or no injectable at all is the honest next step. If Sculptra is not the right filler category for you, we would rather send you away informed than book the wrong thing.

Sculptra starts at $800 per vial. The plan, including how many vials you may need over a series, is set in consult. Current figures live on our price list. We do not quote a full-face package in a sentence, because faces do not share the same starting volume.
