What a typical result looks like
Right after BBL HERO, skin can look pink and feel warm. That redness usually fades within hours. Pigment that the light reached often turns darker before it lifts, the coffee-grounds phase, and flakes over 1–2 weeks. Do not pick it. The clearer tone is what is left after that flake, not a filter applied in the room.
A corrective series is planned for the skin in front of us, then maintenance. Andrea Rike performs BBL step 3, mainly the 640 nm Forever Young filter, once the corrective work is done. That maintenance rhythm is on the Forever Young BBL page. We are not publishing a required visit count here. Dr. Rike will say what your pigment and redness actually need.
Sapphire cooling is in the handpiece. Most people describe a warm snap. You leave the same day. High-altitude sun still matters afterward: SPF on the treated skin, including on a cold, bright day in the San Juans or on the drive back toward Glenwood Springs.
