The Halo Stacked Package is $2,200 for the face: Halo plus BBL (with Clear V, Clear Silk, or Erbium only as needed), a BBL HERO visit at about 1 month, and Glacial Rx at about 3 months. When BBL HERO alone is the right call
If the thing you hate in the mirror is color (sun spots, blotchy brown, flushing, or leftover summer pigment) BBL HERO is usually the first tool. It is light, not a peel. Dr. Rike chooses filters and passes for your skin. You can often go back to work the same day. Spots may look like coffee grounds for a week or two, then lift.
Durango UV makes this a common visit. High altitude and outdoor time lay down pigment earlier than people expect. A stacked laser will not make that pigment smarter if the texture is already fine. Buying Halo because it sounds bigger is how people overspend.

When Halo alone is the right call
Halo is for quality of skin, not just color of skin. Pores that look stretched. Makeup that sits in texture. Fine lines that light will not flatten. A dull surface that still looks tired after pigment is gone. That is hybrid fractional work: a non-ablative wavelength and an ablative wavelength in one pass, so collagen and surface can be treated together.
Halo starts at $1,500. Settings are a medical choice. Lighter Halo is not the same calendar as more aggressive Halo. Dr. Rike performs every Halo here. If you only need texture, you do not have to accept a bundled light treatment you did not ask for. If pigment is also loud, stacking is usually kinder than pretending Halo will erase every sun spot by itself.

When stacking is the honest plan
Stack when both problems are on the list. BroadBand light handles pigment and vessels. Halo handles texture and collagen. Doing them as one coordinated plan means one consult, one recovery season, and one aftercare rhythm instead of pretending two separate marketing visits will line up on their own.
Stacking is not always kind. Recent tan, a packed photo week, a trail season you will not pause, or medications that change healing can make us delay. “No” is part of physician-led care. We would rather keep your money than treat skin that is not ready.
If the concern is deeper lines, scars, or texture Halo will not fully reach, that conversation moves toward Contour TRL, not a louder stack. Contour is a different depth, a different recovery, and a different consult.
The Halo Stacked Package, without the brochure voice
Face $2,200. Neck and chest add $1,000. That is the on-site package, not a limited-time claim.
The first visit is Halo stacked with BBL HERO. Dr. Rike may add Clear V, Clear Silk, or Erbium spot work that same day if vessels, leftover texture, or a stubborn patch need it. Those add-ons are “as needed,” not a hidden extra menu we surprise you with at the desk. If they are not needed, they are not done.
- Visit 1: Halo plus BBL HERO. Clear V, Clear Silk, or Erbium only if the skin in front of us needs it.
- About 1 month later: BBL HERO again, after the Halo surface has settled enough for another light pass.
- About 3 months later: Glacial Rx to calm redness and support the later phase of the plan.
That is three sessions over about three months. Halo and BBL HERO are physician-performed. Glacial Rx is performed by Andrea Rike, co-founder and specialist. The package is still physician-led: Dr. Rike sets the plan, and we tell you who you will see at each visit.
Compare the math only after a consult. Halo from $1,500 plus BBL from $550 is already most of $2,200 before the 1-month BBL and the 3-month Glacial visit. The package is how we price the whole arc, not a trick to make two devices sound like three. It is also not a promise that every face needs every extra laser on day one.

Recovery, said plainly
BBL HERO alone: plan for redness that often settles the same day. Treated pigment can darken before it flakes. Makeup is a personal call after the heat is gone. It is not a peel.
Halo alone: most people describe 1 to 3 days of bronzing and light peeling, then a week of looking more even. Your calendar still matters.
Halo stacked with BBL: follow the Halo clock, not the BBL clock. We ask people to plan about 5 to 7 days of social downtime. Redness, warmth, mild swelling, and a sandpaper feel as tiny treated points (MENDs) rise and flake are expected, not a sign the visit failed. Results keep changing over the following weeks as collagen remodels. We do not publish invented percentages.
Durango sun does not pause because you had a laser. Hats, shade, and daily SPF are aftercare. Fresh pigment on new skin is an expensive way to undo a plan.
Prep starts two weeks out
Do not tan. Stop retinols, acids, and extra actives. Use a short, boring routine so the barrier is calm when energy hits skin. Hydrate on treatment day. Keep the simple routine going while you flake.

If you searched MOXI plus BBL
That search is fair. MOXI is a Sciton non-ablative fractionated laser. Many clinics pair it with BBL because the downtime is usually lighter than hybrid resurfacing. We do not offer MOXI. We are not going to pretend a laser we do not use is unsafe.
Halo is a different instrument: hybrid, with an ablative 2940 nm wavelength alongside a non-ablative 1470 nm wavelength. That is why Halo can change texture more than a purely non-ablative pass, and why recovery is a real calendar item. If pigment is your only complaint, BBL HERO alone may still be enough. If you wanted a MOXI + BBL style pair because you also want texture, Halo + BBL is the pairing we actually perform.
Other pairings can be thoughtful in other rooms. Ask who holds the handpiece, what the wavelengths are, and what the recovery actually is. Then compare on facts.
