Clear V
Gold standard in vascular laser treatment.
Sclerotherapy without the needle.
Laser vein and vessel treatments very tolerable and minimal downtime. Results after first session.

ClearV™ is a non-invasive laser treatment by Sciton that uses a 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser to address vascular conditions such as spider veins, broken capillaries, rosacea, port-wine stains, reticular veins, and skin discoloration.

Key Features:
-
Treatable Areas: Face, legs, neck, chest, and other body areas. Common targets include facial telangiectasias, periorbital veins, and leg veins.

-
Procedure Time: Typically 30-60 minutes, depending on the treatment area.

-
Downtime: Minimal to none; patients can resume normal activities immediately, though strenuous exercise and heat exposure (e.g., saunas) should be avoided for 72 hours.

-
Comfort: Integrated sapphire cooling (5–25°C) minimizes discomfort, and no anesthesia is typically required. Patients may feel a brief warm or stinging sensation during treatment.

-
Skin Types: Safe for all skin types (Fitzpatrick I–VI) and can be performed year-round, including summer, unlike some lasers.

Treatment Process:
-
Preparation: Remove makeup/moisturizer and shave the treatment area if needed. No numbing cream is required due to the cooling system.
-

-
During Treatment: Protective eyewear is provided. The laser handpiece delivers precise energy pulses, with cooling applied before, during, and after.
-

-
Post-Treatment: Expect temporary redness, swelling, or a “cat scratch” appearance, subsiding within 24–48 hours. Treated veins may appear darker initially but fade over 2–6 weeks. Sun exposure should be avoided for 7–14 days, and sunscreen (SPF 30+) is advised.
-

Results and Sessions:
-
Visible Results: Improvements often start within 4–6 weeks, with full results after multiple sessions. Smaller areas (e.g., nose) may need 1–3 treatments, while larger areas or deeper veins may require more.
-
Longevity: Results can last forever. You may form new vessels or vascular lesions.
-

-
Number of Treatments: Varies based on vessel size, depth, and individual healing response. Typically, 1–6 sessions are spaced 4–8 weeks apart.
-

Side Effects:
-
Common: Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, or a sunburn-like sensation. Cat scratch like appearance.

-
Not Suitable For: Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals, those on blood thinners, photosensitizing drugs, or with active skin infections, tattoos in the treatment area, or certain medical conditions (e.g., diabetes). Varicose veins may require alternative treatments like sclerotherapy.

-
Cost: Varies by provider and area treated (e.g., $250–$500 per session). A personalized quote is typically provided after consultation.
